Sending SMS is one of the most important things TextMe Up does to keep you connected!
Let's try to troubleshoot!
If you have an issue to send messages to one specific contact or number, it’s possible that you’ve been blocked (it might have been an accident). In this case, only this contact can unblock you by sending you START.
This is how blocking/unblocking works on TextMe:
- Sending STOP (all caps, nothing else) to someone will block them. You won’t receive any new message from this number.
- Sending START (all caps, nothing else) will unblock.
If you receive an error message on every SMS you try to send, first check your connection. You need WiFi or data to send messages. Second, make sure that those numbers can receive SMS. Then, check if your Textme number hasn't expired.
If you receive a notification "You have reached the limits" or a security notification, that means that your texting capabilities have been temporarily paused, which is why you are unable to send messages at the moment. Refer to our Terms and Conditions for guidelines governing the use of our service.
If you can't send international SMS, check you still have enough credits for the SMS and the Country you want to text is covered by TextMe Up.
Remember that sending International SMS requires TextMe credits.
Please check that you are typing: + (country code) (number) to text international numbers.

If you have enough credit and if you typed a valid format, and you still have issues, please send us a request with the answers of the following questions that will help us with understanding the issue:
1. What are the model of smartphone you and your contact use?
2. What is the network operator (Verizon, AT&T, ...) that you use? that your contact uses?
3. What kind of mobile network were you connected to (WiFi, $G, ...)?
4. Are you sending messages to another user or to GSM? From which Country to which Country?
5. If you can send the number or username you try to contact, the date and time it will make easier for us to investigate.
